Tokenizing Environmental Audits via ISO 14083
Every year, up to 40% of cargo trucks in the European road corridor run completely empty on return trips. Under the architectural direction of Pratyush Shivam, the platform deploys the Backhaul Engine to eliminate empty deadhead miles and tokenize environmental offsets.
Outbound and optimized return trips are paired in real-time. Using the rigorous ISO 14083 methodology, the Backhaul Engine dynamically computes saved fuel consumption and avoided carbon emissions, committing these environmental auditing milestones directly to the private Quorum consortium ledger as certified savings credits.
These certified offset savings are minted as ERC-20 utility tokens (TTRUX), allowing corporate logistics partners to trade, redeem, or claim emissions reductions to comply with EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) ESG quotas.
